# What's needed to start a ĞTest network

In this post I list the tasks needed to launch a ĞTest network:

- complete `py-g1-migrator` for gtest genesis format [V2S: Ğ1 data migration (g1-migrator) - #27 by HugoTrentesaux](https://forum.duniter.org/t/v2s-g1-data-migration-g1-migrator/9814/27)
- make `duniter-indexer` compatible with gtest genesis format [Add Ğtest genesis parsing in indexer (#17) · Issues · nodes / duniter-indexer · GitLab](https://git.duniter.org/nodes/duniter-indexer/-/issues/17)
  - should review and merge [add gtest genesis format (!16) · Merge requests · nodes / duniter-indexer · GitLab](https://git.duniter.org/nodes/duniter-indexer/-/merge_requests/16)
  - should fix [Duniter indexer CI is failing](https://forum.duniter.org/t/duniter-indexer-ci-is-failing/11142) to allow new image to be published when MR is merged

- (optional) run benchmarks for gtest runtime on rpi4 to generate weights
- (optional) build genesis runtime for gtest with srtool
- build a release docker image with gtest feature enabled
- use py-g1-migrator to produce `gtest-genesis.json`
- bootstrap gtest network and publish a docker image with the first bootnode
- add a network switcher in the clients (Ğecko, Tikka…) with a list of pre-defined rpc endpoints and indexers

I hope we will be able to finish this ~~until the end of the RML17~~ 😓

change suggested in [MR !16](https://git.duniter.org/nodes/duniter-indexer/-/merge_requests/16)

- should fix [Duniter indexer CI](https://forum.duniter.org/t/duniter-indexer-ci-is-failing/11142) to allow new image to be published when MR is merged
