Probably ready to start something official by the end of the year (2016).
However, I don’t think we will use Press Release tools like CoinDesk is proposing. We will rather start something smoothely, like Bitcoin did in 2009.
Because we have our own codebase which needs to be validated, and few users is better if we want to have an effective reaction.

Ok … it is the plan … not too much PR at the beginning - a stable growth within community.

Yes, a fast growth is not really the target of Duniter which aims for a really long term currency 
Slow but safe growth seems the best way to go at the moment.

+1 for remaining low profile for a while longer.
We don’t want to attract the wrong kind of attention early on.
