Value in argument: cluster.name

ok, if get URL_NODE/node/stats, we can see the cluster name:

but… Shouldn’t we use the same name?

Sorry for delay off my response…

Cluster.name is only used on local network, by ElasticSearch, to link (or not) nodes between them.
ES has an internal network layer, running on port 9300 by default, to discover other nodes running on the same local network. When a node discover another one, thé cluster name IS used to make sure they should connect or not.

This is usefull when you want to starts many ES nodes.
