Rules of eligibility to remuneration

Eligibility to remuneration does not automatically unlocks the right to remuneration. The staff reserves the right not to integrate an eligible contributor.

Only the contributions to projects satisfying the following conditions are eligible to remuneration:

• The project must be under a “copyleft” libre license in the case of a software; under CC BY-SA in the case of a content (website, article, wiki, etc.)
• The project’s source code must be public on a git forge (ideally our GitLab, or another public forge).
• The project must be decentralized and without any trusted third party.
• The project must relate to at least one of the following subjects:
  • Use of a G1 account (create an identity, renew a membership, revoke an account, make a transaction)
  • Visualization of blockchain data (statistics, WoT graph, etc.)
  • Duniter team infrastructure management (forum servers, GitLab, official mirror nodes)
  • Contribution to one of the official websites: duniter.org , monnaie-libre.fr, cesium.app, silkaj.duniter.org…
  • Creation or improvement of official documents: Ğ1 license, white paper, protocol and API RFC (DUBP, DUNP, GVA, WS2P, etc.)
  • Ğ1 wallet management (Gsper, Dunikey, etc.)

If some project seems legitimate to us but does not satisfy the above criteria, we may update them. That would only happen on a case-by-case basis and on the initiative of a staff member.

Les règles d’éligibilité à la rémunération, voire le premier post, ne considère pas les plateformes d’échanges comme faisant partie du cœur du projet Duniter qui fait tourner la Ğ1. Les règles sont ouvertes à discussions. Pour ma part, je pense, qu’il y a suffisamment de projets à développer pour le cœur, et que les projets qui se concentrent sur le développement de l’économie libre (entre autres sur les échanges), devraient gérer leur propre caisse de rémunération.

Ğchange is not part of remunerated projects from Duniter/Ğ1 fund. The rules of eligibility to remuneration, see first post, do not consider marketplaces platforms as part of Duniter core project powering Ğ1 currency. The rules are open for discussions. From my point of view, I think there is enough projects to be developed for the core, and that projects which are focusing onto developing the libre economy (among others on exchanges/trades), should manage its own remuneration fund.

Even if you would publish Girala on a public repository under a copyleft license (which is possibly already the case, I couldn’t check), I would not agree because of last reason. What others think?
