Ğ1nkgo v1.4.0 released

I’ve just published v1.4.0 of Ğ1nkgo, a significant update introducing functional Version 2 (V2) support along with bug fixes and minor improvements.

  • Working Version 2 Support: You can test V2 features by enabling it via Info > Expert Mode > Test V2 and return later to v1. That includes:
    • Single and multi payments (batch)
    • Search, store, and view profiles
    • Payment progress
    • Use transactions in cache if there is not connectivity
    • Set and del profiles (not working for now), but improve the errors and processing
    • In web payments and balance checks are not yet functional (work in progress), but other v2 functions are working.
  • Various bug fixes and minor UI and performance enhancements for a smoother experience:
    • Check for balance after wallet import (thanks @kapis for the report) and during wallet switch
    • Better check of amounts and balance
    • Don’t check for NFC in GNU/Linux
    • Scroll issues in payments widget
    • Fix parsing of big amounts
    • Show full time or relative time on tap time in transactions
    • Better error handling of failed transaction check with custom UI to retry checking
    • Better logs
    • More tests
    • New translations (thanks!)

You can download it for android or debian :package:, tgz :package:, web :package: or use the web version directly at https://g1nkgo.comunes.org .

Bonjour,

The display problem was solved today by a post from Joss Rendall on the G1nkgo (FR) Telegram channel:

It’s possible that by resetting your phone settings to normal text display and not zooming in to make it more readable, you can see the export button…

I’ve made the suggested change and the save buttons now appear :+1:
Thanks to Joss!
