I already tried to make it multilingual in 2018 when the site was using Pelican: Multilingual website
I continued the reflexion in 2020: Maintenance du site web de Duniter - #12 by HugoTrentesaux
Then I took the maintenance of the french version: V2 du site web de Duniter en français
Finally in 2022 I migrated the english version to Zola too: Migration du site web duniter.org / traduction en anglais de duniter.fr
Zola is not really good at managing a multilang website. I do not know how to do it smoothly.
